PRIVACY POLICY

How we collect, use and protect the personal data you send us through this website.

Last updated: 28 September 2026

IN SHORT

THE ESSENTIALS

WHAT WE COLLECT

Only what you type into our quote form: your name, email, phone, company, and the details of your event. Nothing else.

WHY

To answer your request and prepare your quote. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

YOUR RIGHTS

You can ask us at any time for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct or delete it. One email is enough.

01

THE CONTROLLER

WHO WE ARE

The company responsible for your data and how to reach us.

This website is operated by SAS Sport Team Building, a simplified joint-stock company with share capital of 5 000 €, registered with the Lyon Trade and Companies Register under number 878 768 365, VAT number FR16878768365, with its registered office at 152 Grande rue de Saint Clair, 69300 Caluire-et-Cuire, France.

The person responsible for processing your personal data is Martin Carrère. You can reach us at info@sport-team-building.fr or on +33 6 87 21 38 35.

The website is hosted by OVH SAS, 2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France.

02

THE DATA

WHAT WE COLLECT

There is only one form on this site, and it is the only thing that collects data about you.

THROUGH THE QUOTE FORM

When you send us a request through our contact page, we receive your first name and surname, your email address, your phone number, the name of your company or group where you give it, the type of event, the approximate number of participants, the date you have in mind and any message you write.

Every field is filled in by you. We do not enrich this data from any other source, and we do not buy contact lists.

AUTOMATICALLY

Our host keeps standard server logs, which include the IP address used to reach the site, the date and time of the request and the page requested. These logs exist for security and troubleshooting, and are not used to identify or profile visitors.

We do not use Google Analytics or any other audience measurement tool on this website.

03

THE PURPOSE

WHY WE USE IT

Each use has a purpose and a legal basis under the GDPR.

We use the data from the form to answer your request, prepare a quote and organise your event if you go ahead. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request, and then the performance of the contract between us, under Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.

If you become a client, we also keep the invoices and accounting records relating to your event. The legal basis there is our legal obligation under Article 6(1)(c).

We may contact you again about a similar service. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping in touch with our clients, under Article 6(1)(f). You can object to this at any time, and every message we send gives you a way to do so.

We never sell, rent or exchange your data, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.

04

THE RECIPIENTS

WHO ELSE SEES IT

Our team, and two service providers who make the site work.

Inside our company, only the people who handle quotes and run events have access to your data.

OUR PROCESSORS

Our website and mailboxes are hosted by OVH SAS, 2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France, within the European Union.

The quote form is transmitted by EmailJS, a service operated by EmailJS Inc. Its servers are located in the United States, which means the content of the form you send us is transferred outside the European Union.

TRANSFER OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN UNION

This transfer is covered by the appropriate safeguards set out in Chapter V of the GDPR, namely the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission. You can ask us for a copy of these safeguards at any time using the contact details above.

If you would rather not have your data leave the European Union, you can simply email us at info@sport-team-building.fr or call +33 6 87 21 38 35 instead of using the form.

We may also disclose data where we are required to do so by law, for example in response to a request from a public authority or a court.

05

THE DURATION

HOW LONG WE KEEP IT

We keep your data only as long as it is useful, then we delete it.

Quote request that does not lead to an event 3 years from our last contact
Client file, contracts and correspondence 3 years after the end of the relationship
Invoices and accounting records 10 years, legal obligation
Server logs 12 months

At the end of these periods the data is deleted or anonymised.

06

YOUR RIGHTS

WHAT YOU CAN ASK US

The GDPR gives you rights over your data. Exercising them costs nothing and takes one email.

You have the right to access your data and obtain a copy of it, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have your data deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format so you can pass it to someone else.

To exercise any of these rights, write to info@sport-team-building.fr. We answer within one month. We may ask you for proof of identity if we have a reasonable doubt about who is making the request.

IF YOU ARE NOT SATISFIED

You can lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. As we are established in France, our lead authority is the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL), at www.cnil.fr. You may also complain to the authority of the country where you live; in the United Kingdom, that is the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk.

07

COOKIES

COOKIES AND TRACKERS

Very few, and none of them profile you.

This site uses only the cookies strictly necessary for it to work: they remember your language and keep your session stable. They do not identify you and they are not used for advertising.

Some of our pages embed a video hosted on YouTube. When you play it, YouTube may place its own cookies on your device, governed by Google’s privacy policy, over which we have no control. If you do not want this, do not play the video.

You can delete or block cookies at any time through your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary ones may stop parts of the site from working.

08

SECURITY

HOW WE PROTECT IT

Reasonable, proportionate measures for a small company.

The whole site is served over HTTPS, so what you send through the form is encrypted in transit. Access to our systems is protected by individual accounts and strong passwords, and kept to the people who need it.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach were to affect your data and present a high risk to you, we would inform you and the competent authority as required by Articles 33 and 34 of the GDPR.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy to reflect changes in what we do or in the law. The date at the top of the page tells you when it was last changed.

ANY QUESTION

ASK US ABOUT YOUR DATA

Write to us and we will answer. No form, no account, no delay beyond the one month the law gives us.
